We recently had the opportunity to work at beautiful Shavehead Lake in Vandalia, Michigan. There we encountered a deteriorating willow tree. Due to access restrictions, we were unable to employ our bucket truck for the task; therefore, our co-owner, who has over 17 years of experience, climbed the tree. The wet ground near the lake prohibited the use of our tractor, necessitating the placement of plywood to create a pathway for transporting brush and logs to the chipper.

We proceeded to remove dead limbs and excessive greenery from the tree to facilitate healthier and fuller growth in the upcoming year.
